How to Complement Your Lymphatic Treatments

The body rids itself of toxins 4 ways: sweat, breath, urine and feces. Because of this, I recommend my clients enhance their lymphatic therapy with Far Infrared sauna, deep breathing, and increased water consumption. Additionally there are some practices that when added to your ongoing routine will aid your lymphatic system; two of these are dry  brushing and rebounding.

DRY BRUSHING

Dry brushing is brushing the skin in a particular pattern while the skin is dry. It is thought that dry brushing helps to keep the lymph fluid moving, exfoliates the skin, helps with cellulite and invigorates the body. I offer dry brushing instruction to all my clients about this important modality.

REBOUNDING

A rebounder (mini trampoline), is an important tool to help keep your lymph fluid moving. Since there is no pump to move the lymph fluid, a gentle bouncing up and down creates a G-force that directly moves the lymph fluid. It has many other benefits as well.
